Tidal Barrage

Plans are in place to construct a Tidal Barrage on the Clonakilty Estuary in order to prevent Clonakilty from suffering from further tidal flooding. Currently, issues in relation to planning are under discussion and it is expected that progress will be made on the project in the not too distant future.
