Planning Introduction

Clonakilty Town Council's Planning Department is responsible for the orderly and sustainable development of the Town. It achieves this through five main functions:

• Preparation, monitoring and implementation of development plans.
• Control of development.
• Operation of Planning Clinics
• Enforcement of planning control.
• Protection of our heritage.
• Promotion of best practice.
