Superintendent Patrick Maher,

A native of Mullinahone, Co. Tipperary. 34 Years service.  Joined An Garda Siochana on the 15th November 1972.  Served at McCurtain St, and Mayfield Garda Stations Cork City. Transferred to Timoleague on promotion to the rank of Sergeant in 1986. In 1988 took up duty as Sergeant in charge of the busy station at Kinsale until promotion to the rank of Inspector in 1994. Following promotion to Inspector, transferred to Macroom. Held Divisional responsibilities for Major Emergency and Event Management, including the Eurovision Song Contest and the World Title Fights between Stephen Collins and Chris Eubank at Green Glens Arena Millstreet. Held position from 1996 to 2005 as Divisional Manager of Traffic in Cork West while base at Divisional Hq, Bandon. Also performed duties as acting Superintendent in all five Garda Districts during this time.  Promoted to Superintendent rank in January 2005 and allocated to the Clonakilty District. Inspector John Healy,

A native of Scartaglin, Co. Kerry. 23 Years Service.  Joined An Garda Siochana in February 1984. His first allocation was to the Bray Garda District in the Dublin Metropolitan Area. Between 1987 and 1993 served in Specialised Detective Units at Garda Headquarters.  Promoted to Sergeant rank in 1993 and was allocated to Skibbereen Garda Station, Cork West Division. In 1995 was appointed Detective Sergeant in the Divisional Detective Unit at Bandon Divisional Headquarters. Served in this role with responsibilities from crime and drugs until promotion to Inspector rank in 2002. He served the first 12 months in this rank in Galway City with responsibility for integrated Development Planning and Community Policing.  He has served as Inspector in the Clonakilty District since 2003. Also performs duties as acting Superintendent in all five districts in the Division. He is undergoing a B.A. Degree in Police Management at the Garda Siochana College, Templemore.

Sergeant Aidan Moynihan,

From Tralee, Co. Kerry. 25 Years Service. Joined An Garda Siochana in 1982. His first allocation was Dunlaoire Garda Station, Dublin Metropolitan Region. Worked in this station in mainstream uniform policing until 1984 when he was allocated to a Special Crime Prevention Unit. Thereafter served in the District crime Task Force and there form he joined the District Detective Unit. Developed experience in the investigation of serious crime.  Sergeant Moynihan has served with the United Nations in both Croatia and Bosnia from 1995 to 1996.   Promoted to Sergeant Rank in 1998 and served in Garda Communications, Command and Control Centre at Hartcourt Sq, HQ. He was transferred to Clonakilty District in 2002.  Is currently undertaking professional examination course at Class 1B level. Sergeant Moynihan is the sergeant in charge of the District Headquarters Station at Clonakilty. He is a member of the local UDC sub committee for public order in the town.  He has functions for emergency planning and general policing in the sub district.

Sergeant Eamonn Brady,

Hails from Marino, Dublin. 14 Years Service. Joined An Garda Siochana in 1993. His first allocation was Finglas Garda Station, Dublin Metropolitan Region. Worked in this station in mainstream uniform policing until 1999 when he was allocated to Detective Duties with the Finglas District Detective Unit. Developed experience in the investigation of serious crime.  Promoted to Sergeant Rank in 2005 and served in Pearse St, Dublin until allocated to Clonakilty Garda Station in July 2006. Is currently undertaking professional examination course at Class 1B level. Sergeant Brady has responsibilities within Clonakilty District for Community Policing, Community Alert Schemes, and the Policing Goal No. 5, Public Confidence.
